K-Tharsis is 24-year-old producer, one of the rare French to release his own version of Jay-Z's Black Album, in november 2004. "13 Problems" is a free download album that received warm comments from a worldwide audience. K-Tharsis now launches a revamped version of the "13 Problems" website, to gain a few more listeners.

ANOTHER BLACK ALBUM REMIX !! WHY ?

K-Tharsis speaks : "At first, I didn't really want to make a full-length remix album. I love the original "Black Album" so much that I was scared to fuck it up (and humiliate myself) with half-ass remixes. But once I start playing with the vocals, I felt like 'why not ?'. I didn't really make the album to create a buzz or something (who said 'liar' ?), it was mostly a way for me to learn & improve my producing skills. Remixing a whole Jay-Z album is like playin' a one-on-one with Michael Jordan. I knew I had to come up with relevant material."

WHAT'S NEXT ?

K-Tharsis is now featured on "A l'instinct volume 2", on which he produced two tracks for rapper Shaolin, one of the first artists who gave him a shot. The young beatmaker is currently working with underground sensation Dreyf on a top secret project that will shock those who believed K-Tharsis was only a sample-based producer. Since the release of "13 Problems", K-Tharsis has also become a part of the yet-to-be-disclosed crew "Sleepin' Cell", an impressive lineup of talented french producers, that should take over the rap world in a couple of weeks -- or later.
